Russia’s Dmitry Medvedev: “Ensure Swift Victory and complete destruction of the neo-Nazi regime”
https://www.zerohedge.com/geopolitical/russia-seeks-victory-not-delusional-compromise-talks-ukraine-medvedevDmitry Medvedev, former Russian President and current Deputy Chairman of the Security Council, has stated that Russia is seeking a decisive “swift victory” in Ukraine and aims for the “complete destruction of the neo-Nazi regime.” These remarks reiterate Moscow’s maximalist goals in the conflict.
Medvedev dismissed the possibility of “delusional compromise talks” with Ukraine under current conditions. His comments indicate that Russia is not interested in negotiations that do not align with its stated military and political objectives, including regime change.
His statements reflect a hardline position within the Russian leadership, emphasizing a commitment to military victory rather than a negotiated settlement based on mutual concessions. This rhetoric continues to frame the conflict in extreme terms.

FDA Launches New AI System, Trained By FDA Experts
https://www.zerohedge.com/medical/fda-launches-new-ai-toolThe Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has announced the launch of a new artificial intelligence system intended to assist with its regulatory and scientific review processes. The AI tool is described as being trained by FDA experts, suggesting it is designed to align with agency standards and knowledge.
The implementation of this AI system aims to improve the efficiency and speed of reviewing submissions for medical devices, drugs, and other regulated products. Leveraging AI could help process large datasets and identify potential issues more quickly than traditional methods.
This move signifies the FDA’s formal adoption of advanced AI tools within its operations. While the article confirms training by internal experts, the question posed in your title regarding whether these experts are “new hires from Kennedy or Old guard” is not addressed by the content itself.

Crowd Sourcing Voter Registration
https://thefederalist.com/2025/02/03/exclusive-ohio-elections-chief-launches-portal-granting-citizens-greater-voter-roll-oversight/The Ohio Secretary of State’s office has introduced a new public online portal designed to allow citizens to scrutinize and provide feedback on the state’s voter rolls. This initiative aims to increase transparency and enable the public to assist in identifying potential inaccuracies.
The portal allows registered voters to check records and flag entries that may be erroneous, such as individuals who have moved or are deceased. This process leverages public participation for voter list maintenance.
This effort is framed as a way to enhance election integrity by crowdsourcing oversight of voter registration data. While the title uses “voter registration,” the article focuses on the portal’s function for reviewing *existing* voter rolls for maintenance purposes.

Microsoft Fooled By AI Company That Really Used 700 Indian Programmers
Last week, British AI startup backed by Microsoft and the Qatar Investment Authority, Builder.ai, filed for bankruptcy after its CEO said a major creditor had seized most of its cash. 700 Developers in India posed as AI.
A report indicates that a now-bankrupt AI company that received investment from Microsoft was reportedly deceiving clients by using hundreds of human engineers in India to perform tasks it claimed were being handled by artificial intelligence. This practice involved manual labor substituting for advertised AI automation.
The company allegedly presented the work done by human programmers as AI-generated output to simulate capabilities its technology had not yet achieved. This allowed them to secure contracts and funding based on misrepresented AI performance.
This case serves as a cautionary tale about the potential for fraud and inflated claims in the AI industry. It highlights the need for investors and clients to conduct thorough due diligence on companies marketing advanced AI solutions.

Solar Panels Ending Up In Landfills
360 Acres Used North of Detroit
https://www.zerohedge.com/energy/wasting-away-wind-and-solarville
While green advocates commonly use the terms renewable, sustainable, and net zero to describe their efforts, the dirty little secret is that much of the waste from solar panels and wind turbines is ending up in landfills.
The current amounts of fiberglass, resins, aluminum and other chemicals—not to mention propeller blades from giant wind turbines—pose no threat current to local town dumps, but this largely ignored problem will become more of a challenge in the years ahead as the 500 million solar panels and the 73,000 wind turbines now operating in the U.S. are decommissioned and replaced.
Greens insist that reductions in carbon emissions will more than compensate for increased levels of potentially toxic garbage; others fret that renewable energy advocates have not been forthright about their lack of eco-friendly plans and the technology to handle the waste.
“Nobody planned on this, nobody had a plan to get rid of them, nobody planned for closure,” said Dwight Clark, whose company, Solar E Waste Solutions, recycles solar panels. “Nobody thought this through.”
