Green Charter Township is Sued in Federal Court by CCP / Gotion

Citing the agreements made by the previous city commission and town supervisors, Gotion intends to proceed with their project. The newly elected town government is resisting. Gotion, a CCP owned company, has filed a federal lawsuit in
“It’s unfortunate that Gotion has had to resort to litigation to get the township to comply with their obligations under the agreement,” Gotion Inc. North American Manufacturing Vice President Chuck Thelen said in a statement. “We’re unable to comment further since this is now an ongoing legal matter.”
The lawsuit filing states that the breach of contract arose from unlawful actions of the new members of the township board, who were elected in a recall election in November, which constitute a breach of the development agreement.
Gotion has been operating without a permit and cutting down trees.
Additionally, the Economic Development Responsibility Alliance watchdog group alleged in a letter sent in late January to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency that CCP Gotion hasn’t filed any environmental paperwork with the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy.

“After they (the new board) got in there, the equipment was not working properly. It slowed down and would not let them do some things. Steve (Wright) went and looked at it and he discovered that someone had gone in and put a program on our server that allowed for remote access to get into the computer system from off-site,” Beilfuss said. “Our security caught it and that is why the system slowed down. Someone tried to hack the system over and over again. They tried to crack the password so many times, they broke the links in the programs, and we had to go in a fix all of that.”
Where Was Fed Vetting Gotion During Application?
The sat around in Congress but when Gotion claims they are a subsidiary yet registers that they will be engaged in political activities, Congress was asleep and couldn’t urge further investigation.
Last year, Moolenaar and Rep. Darin LaHood, R-Illinois, introduced legislation aimed at preventing battery parts manufacturer Gotion Inc. from receiving federal tax credits under the Inflation Reduction Act because its parent company is a Chinese firm.
The document also asks the registrant to state if “this foreign principal,” meaning the American company Gotion Inc. is either “supervised,” “directed,” or “financed” by “a foreign government, foreign political party, or other foreign principal.”
Gotion’s answer to this was “No.”
It is, though, “completely controlled” by Gotion High-tech Co., a Chinese company.

In Michigan we see two examples of this type of activity. The Violence Project has been cited by BridgeMI as research organization that demonstrates the rise in gun violence. This entity is funded by the Justice Dept, the same organization that claims Antifa is not a violent activist group.

Another organization that appears to be a cut out is End Gun Violence Michigan. This group coordinates the efforts of religious leaders to lobby for strict gun control laws. The website claims to support over 130 religious leaders, yet the website does not list an office, who the officers are, where they are located.
Why Do Universities Participate In Reporting People For Red Flag Violation?
The DoJ unveiled a network of centers focused on Red Flag Law reporting in 22 states.
“The launch of the National Extreme Risk Protection Order Resource Center will provide our partners across the country with valuable resources to keep firearms out of the hands of individuals who pose a threat to themselves or others,” said Attorney General Merrick B. Garland. “The establishment of the Center is the latest example of the Justice Department’s work to use every tool provided by the landmark Bipartisan Safer Communities Act to protect communities from gun violence.”
